All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (i.e. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at the Vista Road surgery in the last financial year was £75,908 before tax and national insurance. This is for three full time GPs, one part time GP and 1 salaried GP who worked for the practice for more than six months.

However the method of calculating this data does not take into account the time each GP devotes to the practice and therefore should not be used to compare one practice with another or to draw conclusions about GP earnings in general.
