Letter from the GP Partners Regarding the Permanent Closure of Burtonwood Branch Surgery

Important information about your GP practice

I am writing to you as a patient or householder who is registered with our practice, Vista Road Surgery, with an important update.

Please make sure you share this with everyone in your home that uses the practice.

As you know, our branch practice at Burtonwood Surgery, Kinnock Park has been temporarily closed for some time, and discussions have taken place with patients about the future of the site. Following this, the decision has now been taken by the St Helens Place team of NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB to approve this closure permanently.

All current registered patients will remain patients of Vista Road Surgery, so you do not need to take any action. If needed, home visits will continue to be available to all patients, including those who live in the Burtonwood area.

All services at Vista Road Surgery will continue as normal. This means:

  • You will be able to see the same doctors and nurses you do now.
  • Opening times will remain the same.
  • All clinics and support services will remain the same.

Our aim is to provide high quality NHS primary medical care for all our patients, and we feel delivering services from one site at Vista Road Surgery, a purpose-built medical facility, provides the best way of doing this.
